I can't believe it's the last day of January - it seems like only yesterday I was preparing for that 8-course New Year's Eve dinner and now the month is gone in a flash. What is it about getting older that speeds up time? Do we overcommit our time such that we just don't notice how quickly it flies by? Or do we become increasingly more aware of our own mortality (my kids certainly don't think about their mortality or they wouldn't take some of the risks they do), causing us to focus on how quickly we are aging? Regardless, it's February tomorrow and will be spring before we know it!
My husband is away so I made a simple Steak Caesar Salad out of leftovers for dinner and heated up a Corn Muffin from the freezer to go with it.
